We're different because we're lazy...

How is this different than MyYahoo! or CNN or MSN or Netvibes?

I'll keep this short and sweet - SIMPLYHEADLINES COMES TO YOU. 

That's it.  Each day, when you want, you get a single email with only the news and features you want.  It comes to you.  The simplest ideas are often the best.  Think Eggos, legos, bacon-bits, nails, screws, $1 stores.  Simple ideas, good ones.

We wake up in the morning, check our email, get our SimplyHeadlines, hit print and head out the door.  No need to hunt around the web for our news or clickity, click click to read a story. 

Oh yeah - one more thing.  You might think that Yahoo! and Google and those guys offer this feature, but they don't.  Try what they offer and try us.  Take the Pepsi challenge.  Don't cost nothing.

Is this one of those fancy RSS readers?

You know what RSS is?  Good for you.  You're part of the 1% club that know what it is and understand it. 

First off, SimplyHeadlines is no more an RSS reader then Yahoo or Google.  While we do let you include any published news source available on the web in your daily newspaper, we also let you include weather, stock quotes, random facts, suduko, crossword puzzles, news clippings and dozens of other features you would find in your favorite newspaper but never in no fancy RSS reader.

We'll try to make this super clear - we are YOUR NEWSPAPER, YOUR WAY.  We are news for the extremely busy.  We are simple, free, fun and cuddly - as long as you don't call us an RSS reader.

How is this different then a pretzel, toaster and a monkey?

Can't twist it or add salt.  Not as chewy.

Doesn't pop up, has no cord to plug in, not as shiny.

Not as furry but just as cute.
